Nav Install Help
Hey Guys,
I took my 2010 GS in for a new Aftermarket Nav unit (Pioneer AVIC-Z140BH) yesterday, and am getting engine noise. I also noticed that the stereo is incredibly loud at level 10, when it is supposed to go up to 40 i think. Could this all be caused by using the wrong wiring harness?
The car is a 1LT with OnStar, and withOUT Bose.
I brought in a GMOS-04 thinking that the car might still have a factory amp, even though it doesn't have Bose. They told me that this was the wrong one and I think that the one they put in is OS-2C.
So two questions...
1. Can the wrong wiring harness cause this, or do I just need a better ground?
2. Did they use the correct wiring harness?
