06 c6 .. Windows work radio work lights work I have full power took battery to autozone and its fully charged checked the starter and its fine also any idea on what it might be? I hit the clutch and push the start button it does everything it's suppose to before starting but it does not start but does nothing I drive the car every day .. Last week I drove the car somewhere parked for 15 min then tried starting it again and it wouldn't start waited 10 min then finally started today drove to work car sat 9 hours left work got home car sat for 10 min tried starting it and nothing
Is the battery the original? If so, I'd be suspicious, even though you had the voltage checked. Replacement is a small expense to eliminate a possible source of your problem. These cars are extremely sensitive to battery malfunction.
Battery was replaced last year... The starter won't turn over at all no crank
What kind of battery? I've had a battery die in less than a year in my'05 C6 (not DBS related), and the shop I go to has seen many AC Delco batteries croak in less than a year.
So.....you may not be able to rule the car battery out as a problem.
Clutch pedal switch could have gone out, or it could be as simple as your floormat is not letting the clutch pedal go down enough to engage the switch. Also could be a broken clutch pedal spring blocking the switch, that happens too.
I'd investigate down around the clutch pedal switch.
check the clutch pedal switch. it went out on my 05, nearly gave me a heart attack thinking the new column lock was giving up again.
i believe it's a $7? part at autozone with lifetime warranty, so that's what i used and it's been good since and if it ever fails, can go back and get warranty replacement.
i tested it by removing the switch and using paper clip to connect the line that goes into the switch, per a post on here, and it started right up and confirmed it was the switch.
Another possible problem could be the car doesn't recognize your key fob due to a failed key fob battery. Put the fob in the glove box slot and try that.
Duralast battery I just went out to try and start the car and fired right p lol :/ but still something wrong

When the needles swing its not a fob issue. I sometimes get the no fob detected message when my phone is in my fob pocket my mistake. The needles will not swing in that instance.
