Default Bolton LS2 dyno

Finally got a chance to put the old vett on the dyno during LMR'S dyno day. The current mods are corsa sports, vararam intake, kooks off-road longtubes,160 thermo, and a mild street tune. I was very pleased with the results.

HaHa I see what you did there. Yea if i would have had them tune it for me im sure it would have touched 400 but thats close enough for me. Atleast until I throw the blower on.

Are you saying that without cats you will get more HP?

Nice Numbers OP, Now add a Fast 102 Intake and ported throttle body and you will reach +400whp easily
BTW, How's the drone with your exhaust setup (Corsa Sport AB, LT's without cats)? It will be great if you can get a sound video with some start ups and revs of this setup.

Darn good numbers with those mods. Curious what ported stock intake would add. Be at or at least over 400.

What were other LS2s making?

Awesome numbers, but seems a little high for just intake/exhaust/tune. Curious if it was reading high or if yours is just putting it to the pavement, lol. With a FAST intake and U/D pulley you'd be near 425rwhp...which seems too high to me.

Wjhat important is not what you dyno but how much gains you acheived adding your mods.Every dyno doesnt read the same but gains are gains.I agree that 400 h.p is rather optimistic considering the mods you have.

HAHA I thought so too but I think this one is just putting it down. It was dyno'd by Late model race craft. Thought the numbers were a little high until I pulled on a 407hp c5.

Possible IMO!!! Before going turbo I had a Freak as well....never put it on the dyno but with only a vararam catted kooks headers and a 3.90 gear I ran 11.21 @ 123 in the 1/4. I couldnt even get on the fast list because I was told there was no way it would run that time/speed with my mods Guess you just got a good one like i did!

Nice numbers. My C5Z puts out 401rwhp with same mods and a Fast 90. Anthony had a C6 with 403 rwhp with the Fast. The difference with the LS2 is a much better torque number. Those numbers look about right to me without cats which are good for about 5 or so more HP.

I am wondering if I would miss the 10 hp if I had 30 more ft lbs. I am debating the Fast on the new car and from what I have personally seen they usually net about 10 rwhp without a H/C package.

Also those were adjusted correct? What A/F are you running? My tuner got some of the other bolt on cars to 396 but they were running 13.5:1. My car did the 401 at 12.8:1. He tested 14:1 and it put out 414 rwhp but I wanted a safe tune.

So much for Charlie's dyno reading high...my LS2 with:
Airaid
FAST 92
Meth
LG Headers
Tuned

Was only making slightly over 400 hp and tq. Since we have increased about 140 through head/cam

if you look at the pic of the computer monitor youll see the correction factor is set to std (standard) instead of s.a.e. So thats why its a lil higher than normal.
