Hey guys I bought a power tap also called invisacord for my Escort 8500,you can't swivel the mirror around enough to plug the two wires in so I'm thinking just unplug the power supply and install that way,OK how da hell do you get the plug to release?

I can feel the tab at the top give a little with pressure,but it won't release,I have a tendency to brake things easily. So I wasn't sure if there were more than one tab,thanks.

No need to unplug the connector.I used a the tool that doctors use( Don't know what they are called) I call them Roach holders.Turn the mirror to the right & use that tool to push the wires into the pink & black wires.Very easy...
