Default Electrical help

I purchased a 2005 corvette that was hit in the front left. In the process of getting hit the bumper got tore off and some connecteors got pulled off.

1. I need to purchase the pig tail connector that comes from the main harness to my headlight since everything got pulled of it if. Where can I find these at? My dealer was no help trying to get me the right one? Anyone have any ideas?

2. Does anyone know the pin order so when I get the pig tail end I can splice everything back in correct? The colors on the passenger side dont match the colors I have avail on driver so I can't copy it.

3. I need to re pin fog light connectors too so I'll need pigs tails for those as well.

I'm at a dead end and need some help. I can post pictures of needed.

Go to forum vendor Gene at www.gmpartshouse.com, he should be able to help you or point you in the right direction.

Wouldn't a Factory Manual give the information you need?

the connector is somewhere in this site , click on left and set proper cavities, plus male/female. really too many possible for knowing 100% you found proper one. but..... linking this anyway as a f.y.i.

sent you a PM and another with number xref, but see you already figured out xref from PT1448 to gm number... lol, some days i am slow... lol

i tried my best to get a pic of where that gm number fits on the car and no site shows it. but, yes, gmpartshouse shows they sell it.. so, it fits somewhere...

good luck

http://store.gmpartshouse.com/parts/...icleid=1432739

oh, on that xref PM i sent, it actually says... Headlight Wiring Harness Connector

Got the connector from dealer and it is the right one. That being said I asked if they could tell me the pinning order and they said they didn't have access to it...

PM me your e-mail address and I will take a picture of the wires on my wifes 2011 GS and get it to you!

Note! When you splice the new connector in, PLEASE take the time to do the job correctly.

Look up western union splice and follow those instructions. Make sure that you solder the joint and use a good quality heat shrink to cove the repair. Doing it that way the repair will be perment!! Hese are some good wire repair instructions:

If you look at the wire color on the schematic,, they match from the FUSE BLOCK to the head lamp assy. You should be able to match the connector wire to wire..
