I beg to differ. Over 700-800rwhp maybe. What rwhp are you going for? I really like the torque curve produced by the Pfadt tri-y headers. I like it so much, I ordered a set two days ago.

You don't need 1 7/8 for that power level. They won't hurt you, but you don't need them. Since the boost builds with rpm on a centi blower I would think the Pfadt headers would yield the best torque curve and seat of the pants feel for a street car. More torque also means quicker acceleration. You are going to be happy with any of the good headers though. LG, Kooks, Pfadt, or American Racing. Don't put Chinese copycat headers on.

OBX and a new one I just heard about today called Maximizer. I wouldn't waste my money on either of them.

You can throw Melrose's name in there. They are made of mild steel instead of Stainless. They are coated inside and out, which I will require. Not being S/S will make them lighter, and not as brittle. Of course, they will not last as long as S/S, but they will outlast my azz.....20 years.
Pfadt are nice looking headers, but I want coating, especially on the inside. If they will coat them...well. I know, you can have anything coated, but I don't want that extra time or expense.

I don't think you need 1 7/8 headers. I'm putting down 580 at the wheels and Andy said there was more but didn't want to go for it with the stock drive train.
I paid a little over $600 shipped a while back for Jet-Hots ceramic coated headers.

732rwhp/699rwtq with 1 3/4" Pfadt headers. Notice the mid range torque increase.
