Default Bullets with b&b headers...yes or no

Im going with bullet exhaust and i also want headers. What do u guys think about b&b headers? Anyone have any experience with them? Wouldn't it make sense to keep your parts universal if you could? Also, Is it worth buying the b&b x-pipe or should i just keep my stock one? What would the advantages/disadvantages be from keeping the stock x-pipe. Thanks guys.

The stock crossover pipe is an h pipe not x pipe,so i would assume some advantage in the flow.

I run 3" to 4-4" oval B&B Bullets with Kooks 1-7/8" to 3" and3" Kooks X pipe. I would say its alot of preference more than anything. Id guess and would say the technology is pretty even across the board, but it comes down to sound that appeals to you and amount you can stand. If you want loud, B&B is the ticket. You'll her a million opinions here, from 1-3/4" to 1-7/8 headers and a list of droning catbacks. Its your call.
Good Luck!

I have B&B headers with Magnaflow cat back. I am very happy with the sound.

It amazes me how much sound can change when you change the cam, heads and other parts that impact the performance.

I have the bullets and full headers and it's loud so make sure that's what your comfortable with. IF you go bullets before the headers you will need to ditch the factory h-pipe and get a 2008 up factory x-pipe. If not the back pressure will make all kinds of crappy popping sounds that you absolutely will not like, lol.

I had the B&B axlebacks and added headers, HF Cats and X pipe and the car was so loud, it wasn't fun to drive. For now, I have the stocks back on and it's much too quiet until I can find a used set of Corsa Touring axle backs for cheap.

Do your thing, but it's really loud...I couldn't get on it anywhere without drawing tons of negative attention.

Thanks for this info. I was debating on ordering exhaust + xpipe and then headers or just waiting another week or two and getting all 3. Ill def just wait. Makes more sense with the install anyway...im just impatient.

This is my first fast car and i want to hear the motor as much as possible right now. After a few months or a year, i may dial it down a bit but until then, bring the noise!

Default Headers

I have used Billy Boat headers on 3 of my 4 Corvettes. Top quality and American made. Great people to work with. My complete system Boat 3".
