No blue tint. 6000K are super whites. 8000K are the blues. Did not have to re aim because there are screws that keep bulbs aimed in place. You'd have to unscrew those to change the aim.
Looks great! Guess I'll have to add this project on the list!
Looks perfect to me! Very white is great!
Thanks for the info!
Good pictures!

I got 6000K HID Lows, 6000K fog lights combo (#1805) and DRL LED switchbacks (#1573) from corvettemods.com. Big difference with improved lighting to me. Longest I've used lights are 1+ hour, no problems with heat or melting. Used instructions that came with package and watched youtube videos for C6 headlights/fog lights install.
Damn, these are great looking lights.. How do they look when blinking??? Any chance you could post a little YouTube vid with headlights on/off and blinkers on/off?? Pretty pleassssssse...
YouTube C6 switchbacks by corvette mods. Not being lazy, just not computer savvy. Sorry. In the vid it seems a bit red, but true amber in person. I love the whole set up including the clear corners with Amber n Red led bulbs. Gotta keep everything legal in CA.

Looks great! Perfect!
I see many projects in my future!
I like the super white look because I can't see quite as well at night as I used to and some of these Texas roads don't have the best lighting.
Great job! Looks excellent!
Just got home from work and compared lighting with and without fog lights. No difference straight forward visibility wise. Side lighting with the fog lights on made a big difference. I'm sure that'll help out on seeing surrounding areas on your dark roads, including whatever creatures of the night you might have in your area. Also, no one had brighter lights than me on the road.

Sounds great! Cool! Brighter the better! Improved side lighting really would help out. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
Yep, I need all the light I can get on some of these roads around here you never know what might jump out at night!
-armadillos, racoons, deer, you name it!
Can't compare brightness to stock. Never used fog lights until I upgraded all the lights. Now I use all lights when it's dark.
I forgot to ask you if you were running the standard 35 Watt ballasts or the 55W models? I wonder if there is a noticeable difference (in light output) between the two?
I'm using 35w. I'm guessing there is but didn't wanna try it due to risk of melting anything from too much heat and being too bright and blue. My co worker has the 55k ballast upgrade on his 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it's way too blue and bright. Looks like high beams are on so that might bother other drivers and attract attention from LEO's. He was driving behind me on the way to work one day and I didn't like the blue or the blinding brightness.

Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to answer all my questions.
So that's going to be my next project, changing out the stock HID to 6K bulbs and fog lamps to HID 6K.
I'm just waiting for it to warm up a little bit or maybe get a small electric heater for my garage.
You're welcome and no problem for the info. I think you'll enjoy it and notice the improvement in brightness like I did. I didn't opt for the 6000k high beam upgrade because I would never keep them on long enough to heat up and be at 100% full brightness. Be safe and enjoy.

Everything looks excellent on your setup!
Two quick questions please.
1. One question about the fog light HID conversion.
Did you have to re-aim the fog lights after the HID install or did you just leave it as it was adjusted from the factory?
Now I have the switchback LED's here and the 6000K low beam headlight bulbs came in from corvettemods so it's about time to get to work! I was going to wait till the HID fog lamp kit comes in and do everything at once.
Also question #2. In the instructions that came with the HID low beam headlights it says to use a torx 10 but I've read here on the forums it's a 13mm so I wanted to buy the correct magnetic tip driver for the low beam HID brackets.
Which is it 13mm or 10mm?
Thanks for all the great info in advance!
Looking forward to all super white matching lights!
have a good one!

Reason: spelling error!
No need to re aim and torx 10. I hope you enjoy as much as I do!
Excellent!!
Thanks for the super fast reply!
I know I'll love it!
I guess I'll check HF tools first then Sears if I can't find a magnetic tipped 10 torx.
Glad I don't have to re aim the fogs!
You think I can get to the fogs buy just removing all the push pin fenderwell all the way up (and bend back) or have to go underneath the front fascia and taking out some of the bolts underneath?
I'm so looking forward to having all matching bright white lights!
Although it is possible to turn the wheels inwards to do the fog lights, I just removed the wheel and did low beams and fogs at the same time on each side. I also tested the lights after the install to make sure they worked before putting everything back on, to avoid x2 the work if I messed up somehow the first time.

Looking forward to the bright lights! All matching!
I played with the dimmer wire, but I didn't want to tap into my headlight wiring so I was left with either full-time bright or full-time dim. The dimmer mode actually matches the headlights a good bit better than the full bright, but I thought I'd run with the full bright for a while and see how I like it. (Or perhaps I was just getting lazy and didn't want to run a 12-volt wire over to each light
On mine, I tapped into the front side marker lights for the dimmer. It was a lot easier than tapping into the headlight harness.
