Default DRL/Light Bar/LED HI beam

I switched out my stock low beam HID's to 6K form CorvetteMods but not installed the fog lamp kit or the VLEDs DLR lamps yet! I've been working on a couple of other projects and installed a remote control 120W (40x 3Watt LED) flood/spot combo light bar on my little Bronco II so I have neglected the Vette's upgrades.
I changed out the high beam bulbs on the Corvette to "xenon & Krypton" enhanced Halogen 65 W bulbs and they are whiter than the stock HI beams, then I changed those out to PIAA Super White HI beam and liked that even better, so now I made one more purchase of a MTEC superwhite 6K LED for the HI beam but I've not tried that yet. I finally got some yard work done and the LED bar installed on the BII so now it's the Corvette's turn to get all my attention.
I ordered a special socket that is nylon/plastic cased on the outside as so not to scratch my wheels when I take them off the front to do the fog lamp HID kit. I've read where some people have been able to turn the wheels and take out all the clips/screws and have enough room to get in there but I want plenty of working room to tie wrap everything up nice and neat and if I end up using the MTEC LED high beams they too have a small ballast/box about the diameter (only long/square) I'm going to have to mount somewhere too.
The pics are of the MTEC high beam LED & ballast w/a quarter by it for idea of size.

More COMPLETED project pics coming soon!!

17mm/19mm-Corvette/21mm size socket kit.
Found on eBay.
I'll make sure I put the 19mm socket in one of the rear storage compartments along with my spare set of jacking pucks so if/when the car ever goes in the dealership no excuses for wheel or rocker panel damage!

Default Drl

RedlineShiftRepeat, I'll make sure to check it out and see if I get the hyperflash at all since I'm not going to cut and splice in the 50% dimmer wire and leave it all bright like your setup.
The MTECH people claim their headlight replacement LED setup is brighter than halogen but not as bright as HID. We'll see. I connected each set to +12V battery terminals just to test each one out before getting ready to drop the flap and see if I can fit it in there without modifying the high beam bulb rubber boot/cover. I might have to mount the smaller MTECH ballast on the outside of the boot so I'll have to cut a small hole in it then seal it back up with black RTV/gasket sealer stuff so no moisture can get in there. I've already ordered a spare set of the rubber hi beam boot/covers from Gene at GM Parts House just in case I modify these and then decide to go back to a halogen or other type bulb later or if these don't fit right. I was thinking if they don't fit right for the high beam maybe I could use them for the rear backup lights.. just a thought.
I'll let you know ASAP when I see how mine work if I get the hyperflash or not.

Hey guys, I know this thread has been out for awhile but did anyone have to run a resistor to get the VLEDs to function properly?
