The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

It's basically the same as do you like Coca Cola or Pepsi. Or Ford vs Chevy.

Pick a flavor and go with it. All the good major header brands are probably within a few rwhp of each other. I like the theory behind the tri-y design, so I bought some. I had Kooks on my GTO and I liked them well enough. I was talked into 1 7/8 though and I think I would have been better off with 1 3/4.

If buying again, I would certainly give alot of thought to the Pfadt system. Every other part I have used of theirs has been exceptional as well as their customer service after the sale.
I would still like to see an A-B test though .... just sayin'
Now, can I throw another wrench in the mix? Riddle me this ....
Since we know that the engine package is all related, when doing a header/cam package do we design the cam to take advantage of the tri-Y design? If the Tri Y design provides for a better scavenging system do we reduce the overlap or the exhaust timing or maybe just the lift? Maybe change the lobe centers or do like GM and go long on the intake lobe center and short on the exhaust?
When Dr.Gas came out with the first X pipe, as used at Daytona, the cam as designed with the X pipe in mind and tuned accordingly, unlike the use of the X pipe by most manufactures which result in zero gain over the H pipe.
