Default Converter or Longtubes/intake

Hey guys,

Ive got a 2010 C6 3LT with an A6 Trans. The car is stock except for the NPP exhaust and Jannety racing tune..The cars best time so far is a 12.11 @ 118.2 with a 1.95 60ft.The car is slightly chirping the tires on launch and starts spinning when it shifts to second so i know theres more to be had with better tires. My question is for my next mod would i benefit more from a converter(Yank 3200)or longtubes and an intake(Not 100% sure on which brand of either of these yet but choose your favorite and think as if im reffering to them lol)?Whichever i don't go with 1st,Will def be going on also by the end of spring. So which would you guys go with 1st?My wife drives the car quite often so thats why i didn't wanna go too big on the stall. Thanks for any help guys,
Charles

Converter and a good trans tune will give you more ET reduction and will bring a grin to your face every time you stomp on it. After that do headers, intake, and an engine tune. My opinion anyways. FTI makes a mean stall as well. He makes them so you don't even notice they are there unless you stomp on it. Your signifigant other can drive it and not even realize it's stalled. I daily drove a 5200rpm FTI stall in my GTO.

I have an 05 with a 2800 FTI and my 60' are 1.63 with a worn set of Nitto DR.. I just ported the intake, but won't know the results until the tracks here in NY open in March... I am confident with a little "Tweaking" I'll be in the 1.5x for my 60' times!!

FTI makes an AWESOME CONVERTER!!

Converter followed by DR ('cause you're gonna need em soon anyway) will give the the biggest boost.
You can prop the shroud while you're waiting to buy the CAI. After the headers, get a tune to bring the whole combo to a higher level.
Be sure to have fun doing it.

I agree with others here. A converter will lower your ET's and raise your grin level a lot more than a set of headers ever could.
