Default 2005 T56/Diff upgrade to Zr1 TR6060 and diff

I did some searching, but didn't find anything specific here. Are there any surprises when swapping a T56/diff from a Z51 05 car to the Zr1 trans and either Zr1 diff or Z06 diff (not sure there is a difference in the diff or not) and axles?

Shifter?
Sensors?
Mounts?
Torque tube?
Slave Cylinder?

Thanks! I just want to make sure before I start buying parts.

I did this swap in an 07 just a couple months ago! The ZR1 torque tube is shorter than yours but if you are gonna use your TT then it will bolt right up without issue. If you keep the diff cooler you may have to modify the trans cooler lines on account of the longer TT in your car! Your axles will go into the diff as well however the zr1 axles will not work in your 05 hubs as they upgraded to larger spline hubs in 09 up vettes. All sensors will go back into the same place they were on your drivetrain but there is a plug sensor on the lower left side of zr1 trans that you will not have a plug for and all is well with mine.

The biggest issue is modifying the rear cradle "only if you use the ZR1 TT" because the shorter tube moves the diff mount point forward an 1" on the cradle and you will also need an 09+ shift linkage. If you are using your TT then everything will go right back into place fine.
