TPMS question for the computer know alls
If my wheels and tires were replaced with another set, and the sensors not functioning, outside the annoying check system light, is there any effect.. Timing retard, anything weird?
Been driving it this way for a bit, wasnt in a rush to switch em to the right TPMS. I have newer wheels and tires. I swapped them out when I had a need to replace tires, but got a killer deal on wheel with tires, so I just swapped the whole set-up.
Any computer woes to go with that situation?

you will either be put into limp mode or not. other than that nothing harmfull.

If you keep the old wheels with sensors near the car in the garage, you will be able to drive about 20 miles without the light coming on...then it will reset again when you return to the garage.
