I was having the car looked at today at the dealer. They told me I need to have my steering gear replaced. I tried searching for a 'how-to' for this with no luck.
Can anyone point me towards a guide along with part numbers I am looking for? Also, how difficult is this to do? Is this something I should leave for a professional? They quoted me $1100 to do this job.
No personal experience but others have said there is a computer re-learn associated with it along with a full alignment. Doesn't sound like a DIY job to me but if you're talented and knowledgeable maybe. Here's just one mention I found. Best of luck.
