Please help
On a second request, i have borla atak cat backs- there is no emissions in my county, so I've been thinking of ordering LG headers with xpipe no cats, and tuning my engine with a diablo tuner- any advice so I don't blow up my engine?
As far as the wheel vibration, take a look at the picture below:
In the picture I've loosely installed a couple Tinnerman nuts on two of the lugs. Those nuts are retainers that are put on as the car comes down the assembly line - they simply hold on the rotors until the calipers are installed later down the line.
The OE wheels have a recessed countersunk area around the inside of the lug hole for those nuts to go into.
Some aftermarket wheels don't have a recessed area and if the Tinnerman nuts are left on the wheel pad won't sit flush on the face of the hub - and that will cause the vibration you're experiencing.
So....I don't know if that's your problem, but I'd check to see if your wheels are flat on the inside or if they have a countersunk area around the lug holes. I'd just make sure those retaining nuts are removed - they are not required and should be removed first time you work on the wheels or brakes.
