Default Not you average p0174 question

Hey guys so heres the deal..... I had a fellow forum member swap my headers. I had dough thorley and switched to lg LT headers. car has a volant CAI. car was tuned by a local shop when it had the thorley headers on it. after the header swap i am getting the p0174 code by itself. Not with the p0171. so pulled the whole intake off re attached all is well. cleaned the maf no change. no intake vacuum leaks anywhere that i can find. checked the manifold, the tubes coming off the manifold injector seals. So lets here some brain storming of what it could be or how i can further diagnose the problem.

in order for it to be an exhaust problem it would need to be between the motor and the exhaust so the only place that could be is where the header bolts to the head.

Do you have CATS?

Are your rear O2 sensors moved to the rear of their stock location?

Check for:

Bank 2 exhaust leaks, missing or loose exhaust hardware.
Bank 2 HO2S #1 is installed securely and electrical connector not contacting exhaust system or ignition wires.
Engine mechanical failure. Refer to Base Engine Misfire Diagnosis in Engine Mechanical 5.7L.
Vacuum leaks that will only affect bank 2 such as the intake manifold, the injector O rings, etc.

ok going to take a look at where the header bolts head for leaks. might swap gaskets. if the 02 sensor wires were burned through i would think that the light would light up even while driving not just at idle. checked those areas for vacuum leaks. and it kinda makes sense since the headers were just swapped

alright guys as of right now i have the feeling it was the wrong header gasket. totally my fault as the guy on the forum that installed them used what i provided. but i could tell just by looking at the gasket that it was leaking right there. Put the old gaskets back on and light hasn't returned. i'll put some more miles on it just to make sure
