Yes I was! Were you there? I posted my times in the drag racing section. I was actually looking around for your vette but didn't see it.

I see. I may not go again for a little while until I get some sticky tires. There were quite a bit of lsx cars and that was cool. Maybe we get to meet the next time out there.

That thing sounds nuts on the dyno! First time I've paid attention to a big stall on the dyno..sounds like a CVT transmission. Great numbers. What kind of dyno? Can you post up a sheet?

You might scan when the car is bucking...I found that in my case my bucking was right where I had a pretty large (2-3 degree) change in timing, I extrapolated between those boundaries and the bucking pretty well stopped.

Sounds great BTW.

Dynojet.
I can look through my phone and check and see.
Honestly the Tiny buck it has really isn't even worth me messing with, Most people who ride with me don't even notice it since it's so subtle.

I'm hoping to get back to the track soon but kinda waiting it out since last time i was there they warned me and told me i was going too fast.

Installed this Friday night when i got home from work. I might dyno a before and after but i've been debating on more changes before the track.

I read that the guy who's been running Gateway bought it from the owners of PBIR..that's too bad as PBIR doesn't kick reasonable people out, I was hoping with their ownership that view would transfer north. Gateway used to be so persnickety with the rules back when I lived there, tiny infractions got you kicked out. One time I had a screw hole in my firewall, he was going to kick me out for that. Piece of duct tape took care of that issue. But I got warned that if I didn't fix my reverse lockout (keeps an automatic starting only in P/N, typically doesn't work if you convert a column shift car to a floor shift) I'd be banned for good. If you want people to stop street racing give them a venue to do it and not everybody wants a roll bar in their car they drive to work.

All that said, frankly, you're going to be tickling a 9 second slip in cold weather. When you are that fast, I can understand the track getting a little stricter on rules.

What rear end are you running?

I couldn't agree with you on those points.Currently i have 2.56's and don't know if i will ever change them, i was cutting 1.46's 1.47's before the cam.
I've really been debating on throwing a set of heads on the car or a 150 hit.

Long story short as i can make it. Back when i had my G8 i had bolt ons,Yank3200, and a 100 shot. Car ran 11.8 on the bottle and 12.7-12.8 off. To compete with any kinda of "quick" car i had to spray it, well that got old after 2 years and between 30-50 bottles. At that point i ditched the n2o and went to a procharger, meth,Full 3" exhaust, and the Car went 11.29. I then added ported heads and a custom grind cam and went 10.55@134+. I told myself after that i wouldn't mess with n2o again, But i keep leaning back towards it since i think with the current combo i can maybe click off a mid 10 second pass on motor and spray it into the 9's. At that point i really wouldn't need to spray it much like the old car. Who knows.

You don't agree on my points? That a typo?

Your car as it sits will be in the same realm as Dennis, Stanger383...low 10's with some skinnies and seat out in cool weather.

And it should do this:

I haven't met anyone yet who went with NOS that didn't end up putting an engine in. I have an addictive personality, I won't allow myself to try it, I know I'll get hooked and will need to get a new engine before long!

I couldn't agree more lol. I'm with you on those point about the track

I believe with the right tune/right plug n2o can be safe.
I always checked plugs and didn't use a projected tip plug with the bottle or blower.
Funny thing about the old car 40k miles on the motor/trans/driveline and with 2 years of n2o and 1.5 years of the blower. Motor was still in great shape along with everything else. Only thing that ever broke was the factory balancer started coming apart and caused me to loose a few ribs on the blower belt and replace the vacuum line for the bypass valve.

We will see how she does, i think i'll wait till late in the year for some -DA

Say, is your car an 08+? Maybe Gateway will follow the new NHRA rule that you don't need a bar until you get into the 9's...frankly, I think that rule is much more reasonable, though making the cutoff at 08 is a mistake, should have been 05 (lol) or at least 06 when the 10 second factory C6Z came out.

The one tech kid who works there seemed kinda clueless on the rule when i mentioned it to him and tried to explain it. I got a few numbers to some NHRA techs im going to ask them their take on the rule.
