Default Stock LS2 Head on 402?

Hello all. Just joined a couple of days ago. Love the forums so far! I have searched a couple hours for an answer to this question and haven't found one.

Currently I have a C6 DSOM with an E-Force supercharger. Everything else is stock save for the Z06 fuel pump. In the next month or two I will be adding a Custom Cam, Long Tube Headers, 60LB injectors, X-pipe and protune. I was looking at adding in a forge 402 rotating assembly for the insurance. From what I have seen, it seems that some people are calling that a waste on the stock LS2 heads. But the E-Force is designed specifically for the LS2 head. So I have no choice. Would it be a complete waste to use the 402 with LS2 heads even though I will be on the E-Force? PTV issues? Alternate options?

This is my FIRST LS car so I am sure that I am missing quite a bit of information on what could easily be done. But the bottom line, I want the shortblock to be forged. Thanks for reading!

I just did a similar build. I dont know how the stock heads would work because I never tried them with the 402. There are plenty of aftermarket heads available that will work with your setup.

I would use LSA heads, but they won't match up with your blower.

How does that make any sense?

It makes sense of you want heads made for a blower.

Run fully ported 243 heads on my 402. Making just over 600rwhp all motor.

There are plenty of heads that work great with his blower. If he wants to keep it, which it seems he does, suggesting heads that don't fit seems fruitless.

My WCCH heads work with my 402 / eforce and make pretty decent power. Just one option available that would work.

Excellent! I read that thread thoroughly. Very impressed with your setup. Although, I'm not sure I want all that WHP and WTQ! Jeez! This clears a lot of things up for me. I appreciate it.

I know that, and since they won't work on the ops car, I meant how does it make any sense to suggest them.
