I used an install guide on the PFADT website. They recommended 24" but i did it with about 18 with no issues. My driver side header went in with relative ease but i had to loosen the motor mounts and jack up the motor to install the passenger side header. It was well worth the work...just had my car tuned on Sunday
lol the car would collapse on that junk haha
they were lowes lumber... not the best in terms of lumber but they worked and are still good to use a year later.
I am in Vegas or I would be on my way over. Thanks for the offer. Car is up in the air, about 18" now. I seem to have plenty of room to work. Did a few things up top and will be underneath the car after dinner.
I'm coming out to Vegas monday morning . If you aren't done, I'll help ya.

That should be plenty high enough! Im actually doing my headers also at this time. I got my 07 up about 20'' with the use of some Harbor freight jack stands. plenty of room, and i am using LG street pros. didnt have ANY issues with fitment either. driver side went up nice and passenger side went in good, wit just a lil twisting to push up past the tight spot. good luck...
Got them installed. Pretty easy actually. No fittment issues and went right in through the bottom. At my tuners now and he will address and fix any leaks (smoke check the system) while he has it. I can't begin to say how much easier a $60000 corvette is to work on than the 2000 Camaro SS I had 10 years ago. That car was a nightmare to work on. Thanks for the info guys.
Finally getting car back tonight after two whole days trying to get these damn leaks stopped. I know LG will chime in about proper install etc but I have a top Corvette tech working with me on these. He stepped in after my install due to EVERY slip joint leaking. What a total PIA to get these sealed without restoring to welding. I do not know how LG can sell these for $1700 with a straight face. One more leak and these are going in the trash and Kooks or ARH going in. Take it from me and a few other users, stay away from LG until they do away with these pathetic slip joint connections. Just my opinion.
