I can see how to get the fluid out. Where do you refill it? Anyone done this? Are the filter and pan gasket readily available? Thanks.

You are always so helpful digging out the info and posting the links, so asking for more seems almost rude, but I'm going to ask anyway.

Is it possible to include the search terms and the search engine (when it's not the forum one) that you've used to find the links? You are the master of searches and we all could hopefully learn from you.

It isn't as bad as you would think.
If you get a hand pump which fits on the top of the AFT bottle filling is a snap.

Also, measure the amount of fluid you drained out and replace that much with new and maybe a little bit more.

I think it took me right at an hour to do mine.

My first guess resulted in the same thread he posted.

site:corvetteforum.com C6 6l80 fluid change

On Google.com

ONLY use google for searches. The search function on the forum sucks hard.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm really not all that great with searches here although I do have good success. My "secret" is I tend to remember when I see something that interests me and that usually means it will be interesting to others too. The problem is then remembering when and where I saw it. Soooo, many years ago, when I would see a thread discussion that I thought was interesting to me or might be informative to others in the future, I bookmarked it. Now, after 8 active years on C6 I have a lot of bookmarks. So all I have to remember is what I have, finding it only takes seconds.

So, there....now you know, I'm not so special, just organized. Thanks again for the kind words.

Thanks to both of you.
I guess I'm way late for the bookmarking method, so I'll deal with Google.
