A/C compressor not coming on?

A/C compressor not coming on?
My a/c compressor is not coming on, it has freon in when i attach gauges. What should be the voltage at the compressor?right now i have know voltage at compressor, the fuse and relay seem to be ok.What else should i look for? Thanks

I have never looked for them on my car but I would assume there are 2 switches. Low pressure switch on suction line (large line) and high pressure switch on liquid line (small line). Suction would be the most likely culprit,(if the malfuntion is a switch) if compressor cycles on immediately then shuts off it's a sign of low refrigerant.
