2008 Z06 Driver door not opening

2008 Z06 Driver door not opening
I just bought a 2008 Z06 with 33000 miles. The car is in top condition but soon after I got it home the driver side door will not open using either the inside button or the outside door pad. The passenger side works fine. I cleaned the driver side pad and reinstalled-still the same problem.
I swapped the passenger side pad with the driver side pad still the same problem-the passenger side works not the driver side. The door clicks and the window moves down as it should but the door remains locked. The door will open using the manual release inside the car or the one in the trunk. The battery seems to be in good condition. Any ideas out there?
