Cold Air Intake
Can someone point me in the right direction for a Cold Air Intake for a 2009, C6, LS3. I have been looking at two models one that you oil the filter and the other you wash. Any thoughts?????

You should search this forum, this topic has been discussed many, many times, and you will learn a lot from those posts.
And,there's a LOT more to consider than just the air filter cleaning too.
Some of the threads will talk (and show) HP gains, other things to consider at the same time, etc.

Callaway Honker or Variram
both are good, The Variram does block the radiator and so doesn't work as well for road racing (track) the Variram works better on the drag strip. costs are about the same

We like the Vararam's here, they work well, just installed another one earlier this week actually. Several great brands out there though.

Many good options out there. The LS3 factory piece is pretty good to begin with. You could start by cutting the shroud to allow cooler air into the filter area , and adding a beehive or similar piece to isolate the air filter from the engine compartment air . I used the oiled filters for years, I am currently using the Airaid synthetic non oiled filter, I like it a lot. Soap and water clean up . Good luck in your search .
