Default LG Motorsports Super Pros Installed, Plug Boot Clearance

Had 1 3/4 Super Pros installed and the second plug from the front of the motor on the drivers side has the sparkplug boot touching the header. Is this normal?

Stock wires? MSD wires have boots that can be adjusted to angle away from header tube unless headers are made in error causing tube to be very close to spark plug. I would call header mfg.

Tried to add a picture. To so that this forum is difficult to add a picture to a post is a HUGE understatement.

You can't link a pic directly to your PC. "c/Users/Bill/Desktop" is not a link. You need to upload your pic to a hosting site and link to it there. Most people use Photobucket. If your pic size is less than 200kb you can upload it here, no signup no account needed, copy the link it provides and post it on the forum. Here's a link to a STICKY that will help. How to Post Pics

Default spark plug

I have the 1 7/8 inches version of the same LG headers and the spark plug boot is right next to the header tube just like yours. My factory wires come straight out instead of the 90 degrees version like yours. I have had no problems with damage or burning of the sparrk plug boot. I have had the headers on for almost 2 years (Las Vegas) now with about 10000 miles on the car. Additionally, the car has made many dyno pulls due to various mod upgrades and retuning. They are Jet Hot coated.

Mine were ceramic coated by CPP in Detroit. Curt did a great job on these at half the price of Jethot guys. Thanks Curt.
