Default Drive line problem

I took my car to the drag strip last weekend to make a couple of passes. On my second run I tried to leave the line at 3500 but when I let go of the clutch, something popped and the car only rolled about 10 feet. I put the car in reverse and backed it off the track but everything felt normal in reverse. When I put it in 1st it acted like the clutch was slipping really bad but again reverse felt normal and there are no abnormal noises. So I put it on the trailer, brought it home and started tearing it apart. Now that I have it apart the clutch looks fine, the guibo couplers are fine, all of the splines look good. Anyone have an idea what it could be? The clutch is an RPS triple. The trans and rear are built from RPM but I don't think that it is either of them because there is no noise coming from them when the car is moving. Is it possible to glaze a carbon clutch? This is really confusing me.

Sounds like you will need a new gearbox.

if if moves backward but not forward, in 1st at least, must be trans, at least 1st gear.

It moves but not very well and it's like that all the way through 4th gear, I didn't try 5th or 6th. If it were the trans, don't you think that there would be some grinding or some kind of noise coming from it.
