C6 battery removal
Does anyone know how to remove the batter connectors from a 2007 C6?

Loosen the bolt on the top and it should come right off. May need a little wiggle to get it off.

Don't lose the nut, they are specially shaped and not available as a separate part thru GM.
Sometimes they show up on fleabay.
OTOH, the stock clamps are pretty crappy. When one of mine broke, I got good generic replacements from the parts store and installed them. Carefully.

Don't laugh, but the reason those clamps have the nuts on the top is so that fine UAW worker can tighten it from the top.

They are metric nuts also
The nuts sprout legs just before they hit the ground and run like hell.
They are beveled on the bottom and good luck finding them

The nut only takes about half a turn of loosening...do not remove it. Half turn and then try wiggling the clamp. If needed then another half turn.
