Default Fog Lights (Both!!) are not working

Both fogs lights are not working. When I attempt to put them on the green light on the dash indicates they are working, but they are not. Seems odd that both would go out at the same time. I assume I am getting power to them due to the fact the the indicator on the dash is working. any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Have you checked the fuse for the fog lights?

If the fuse is blown,,, you wont have power to the entire FOG LIGHT system.

work backwards. check for power at the bulbs, then relay, then fuse, then switch.

I disagree. Work from easiest to hardest.

It isn't the switch, because the indicator comes on. That means the BCM sees the switch.

Check the fuse (easiest), then the relay (second easiest). Test the relay by swapping with another.

OK, now I'm confused!! I checked the fuse and relay- no problem. I have aftermarket lights, so I even replaced them with the ballasts. STILL NOT WORKING!!.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!.

First thing to check is the bulbs man. You have to get to them first. Check with a multimeter for power before buying new bulbs. Hopefully that's the extent of your issue . If no luck, tackle it as suggested above.

I installed an aftermarket HID kit and neither bulb came on, yet the indicated worked. Come to find out that the polarity is backwards from the factory. I had two little jumpers that came with the kit and repinned one side of the jumper, installed inline, and it solved my problem.
