Power window switch replace

Sorry if this has been addressed before. 2005 C6 Coupe. I have determined that the passenger window switch is faulty. Window operates fine with drivers side switch and does index when door opened and closed. Question...do I have to remove the entire door panel to replace this switch. Or, can the switch be removed by itself in its bezel.

No you do not have to remove complete door panel, great illustration listed above by "ColtaBilly".

Passenger power window switch corroded

The contact on SW2 if half missing. J1 also shows some corrosion, especially around pin 1. It’s clear to me now why this switch failed. It’s just worn out. It was probably helped along the road to failure by getting wet. The new switch, ACDelco D1991F, GM 20794871, works great.
