Hi,
Thinking about adding a switch so I can have my NPP exhaust baffles open when I want them open. This is on our 2013 Grand Sport, if it makes a difference. But wondering if there might be an issue with burned valves from too little backpressure? Anyone have any knowledge of this or experience one way or the other?
TIA
Glen
The NPP flaps on my 11 Grand Sport have been open since the day I purchased the car OCT 2011.
Purchased the kit to open and shut them. They are always open!
NO ISSUES!

Same here... I just removed the fuse... but have run it more often with them open than not. The only time I MAY close it is when taking a long road trip with the better half... she does not like it as much as I do.
Backpressure isn't the problem, temperature shock is. Run without exhaust manifolds or headers where 60° air can hit 2,000° valves and you'll have a problem.
