Ac problem
When hiting the track it is more frequent. Read somewhere that the headers causes exess heat which makes the ac pressure to high. Is there any fix? Should I reduce some gas at a shop?
(if the discharge temp. gets too high from too much heat under the hood, the pressure switch should disengage the compressor)
IF you have the right amount of freon in the system, this should not happen. Have you checked the condenser to make sure there is good air flow across it?
What is the ambient temperature? If it is over 100 degrees, I am not surprised the system has to stay on recirculate to keep the right inside temperature. I think it is normal to for the control to switch back and forth between outside air and recirculate.
