Trying to change spark plugs for the first time. Question: does the spring suppose to be hanging out about 1/2" from the steel inclosure?
Do I need the plastic cover over the two intake filters?
Thanks

What spring on what "inclosure"?
The plastic cover is part of the filter box. Don't remove it unless you want to run unfiltered air and destroy your engine.

I have the metal covers over the spark plug wire on the plug side. I already figured it out.
Thanks

I wondered the same thing as you, but I have since replaced with thermal wires so the point is moot for me.
