service selective ride reset?

service selective ride reset?
Hi all,
I posted here a while back with a selective ride problem which I found out was a leaking front passenger shock. So I replaced that (which is actually a funny story, but I'll post that separately) and the service selective ride message is still there. My code scanner doesn't see this, as it is brand specific, and I tried to reset it by disconnecting the battery for a day, but that also didn't work.
Does this code need to be manually removed, or will it come out automatically when the problem is fixed? Meaning of course that I have another problem I am unaware of. My sway bar end links are clanking and I will be replacing them next week, but I don't think this would throw a code.
Thoughts?
