Default X-pipe question

Hey guys and gals!
I'm not sure if this is the stock mid pipe or after market
If stock, what year did that start including x-pipe?
If aftermarket, what the heck is it?

Thanks!

It's the stock one man; you can know for sure if it has a serial number stamped towards the front, before the pipes flare out (look for it). No aftermarket pipes have that rear bracket. I believe it changed in 2008, along with the LS3 motor and A6 tranny, but am not positive. Also keep in mind the auto X-pipe is different than the manual, due to the A6 being wider (more flared out at the rear). Anyway, that X-pipe is prior to 2012 for sure, since the 2012 is catted. I know it's stock because I changed my 2012 catted one for a 2011, and looks just like the photo. Good luck.
