Default Constant underhood power source?

Is there a Constant power source underhood on a 06 Z06? I checked in the fuse box and found a couple of fuses that read hot on the volt meter, but I hooked up my LED's and they weren't hot. Any ideas on a good power source?

I was about to make a smart*ss comment and say "the battery? Duh"
...But then I read the ZO6 part lol.
I don't own a ZO6 so I'm just guessing, but isn't there a heavy gauge terminal on the side of your underhood fuse box that runs directly from the battery? I know the base models do because that's where the manual says to connect your jumper cables.

I believe he's wanting switched power for his LED's. If so a lot of folks go with fuse 15. It's on when the ignition is turned on.

If absolutely always on then the power lug at the fuse box makes the most sense.

Did you wire in the LEDs backward? If your VM says 12v and you wire to it, you should have 12v.

For a constant on 12v, I would use the big + terminal on the outside of the fuse box OR the lead for the underhood light ( if you have it ) I think it's there but not used anymore. My 2007 came with the lead, but no light. I believe it is a constant 12v.
