Default Why don't I ever learn?

I decided that I needed to put 3:73 gears in my car, so I end up buying parts for 6 months. If I am doing gears, need HD bearings and shafts, the a Quaife and a cooler. never simple.

Now I decide that I "need" new seats. I buy a pair of Recaro Profi XL seats and am still buying parts to get the seatbelt and airbag lamps to to go off. God only knows how long it will take to get all of this work.

When will I learn to just leave what I have alone?

But the rest of us learn a lot from your manic behavior as you post how-to's, problems and fixes.

I'm also real bad about buying parts when they are on sale and then all the warranties are gone before I finally get them installed.

I am going to lease one so that I don't mess with it. I will keep the old one to mess with!

Having a Vette as a project car is great fun. Also, the source of many headaches and sometimes sleepless nights. I only mess with my Vette, I leave the others OEM and just keep them running. One project car is all I can afford or care to deal with. The aftermarket really takes care of those who cannot leave well enough alone. No fun leaving a sleeping dog lie when its a Corvette!

Default you are asking the wrong people

i remember how proud i was when i picked my car up. I took pictures of it and emailed them to my friends. My uncle replied with "i see you are still buying sensible cars" . My best friend just said "just leave this one stock" little did he know i was loading my Vararam & Corsa system in the trunk . Needless to say it is nowhere near stock and i love every minute behind the wheel.

Same deal. Had exhaust and air system before the car even arrived!

I've been doing all my projects in the main garage, well forever. I just started a detatched garage last week and it's all of 12' from our bedroom. She asked how many sleepless nights now that I won't have to walk so far?

btw was that the correct headlight wire you were looking for?

Sorry, the wire was perfect! It is a son of gun to attach the clip, but I got it done. Thank you!

The headlamps is another one of those "simple" projects that is next on my install list.

I have over an acre and was going to build another garage, but I am afraid of collecting more "stuff". I put 4 cars in my 3.5 car garage because of the lift.
