Does anyone have any experience or first hand knowledge of ARH headers? I am looking for a set of pipes and am relying on the wisdom of our sage readers for some info either pro or con. Thanx in advance.
I have one of the first sets, put on 7 years ago. Been on and off a few times now, always bolting right back up and never a leak. Their ball and socket collector is a fantastic connection, no gaskets to leak and so much better than other brands. And I've had other brands so I know of what I speak.
And as for performance, AR headers are on a lot of the fastest c6 cars on the Fast list.
My tuner swears by ARH, though i have not installed ant LT's on my car yet.
From what i've read, and firmly believe: Kooks, ARH, LG, and Pfadt are gunna be your top ones. Even stainless works i've read good about.
Just a side note though, I have read a few things pointing to the fact that people really really stand behind the Pfadts. They have a little different design then the rest.
Also, they're all in the same price range so its really a preference or finding a good deal.

I absolutely love the Pfadts. Between the V-bands clamps (which really are a superior connection), the pre-welded wideband bung, and the tri-y, its hard to recommend a different header. That being said, I aggree that Kooks, ARH are top headers....LG's are made in china now so they aren't on my list anymore. Go with a top brand and youll be happy..nothing is worse than waiting for a set of headers and then finding otu they don't fit once your car is torn apart
I've been running the ARH 1-3/4" headers with their X-pipe & hi-flow cats for the past 4 years. Installation was done by ECS in NJ. Performance & quality are both great.....highly recommended.
Just had a set installed on my 08 C6 convertable along with the CORSA Extreme and a tune. Gained 54 at therear wheels and 66 at th fly wheel. Happy so far.
