Anyone with tranny temp gauge?
my transmission temp read about 20 degree lower than it should be... I think. On first startup when everything is cold, engine fluid temp is about 20 degree higher than tranny fluid. I was thinking both engine and trans fluid temp would be about the same or at around ambient temperature.
Anybody with tranny temp gauge what does you'll read when everything is cold. does it read about the same as the engine fluid or may weight of the fluid hold at different temperature?
another question is that what is temperature difference between the diff and tranny? which would be higher diff or tranny? I ask because if transmission is always higher than diff then I won't bother install diff sensor.
