i have a base c6 2013. i want to change my rims to a black rime that is either a repop or a factory black rim, mine are the stock 18 19 inch rims i wanted to see what i could do if the 19 20 sets would fit being they have a different offset?? will it still fit on mine with the original brake package. so many questions i need to be answered please help

 

Changing wheel diameters and offsets, along with tire diameters, can be a real can of worms. Many things have to be considered and dealt with, especially the front to rear stagger in order to keep the Active Handling computer happy.

The factory 19/20 setups won't really work due to the offsets. They will fit and bolt on but they will stick out beyond the body/fender and you run the risk of body damage when the suspension compresses. The only right way to use those would be to add the wide body/fender panels from the GS/Z06.

You can get aftermarket 19/20 setups that will work but I don't know details on what is available.

There are many guys here who can help you but I think it would be easier if you could settle on one or two specific wheels and tires to ask about.

At the top left of the form, in "Search by Keyword",

In the text box enter: ""19/20"" using the double quotation marks;

In the drop down menu under that box, click on the down arrow;

Click on "Search Titles Only";

Down in the lower right of the form in "Search in Forum(s)";

Scroll down and highlight "C6 Corvette General Discussion" and;

While holding down the Shift Key also highlight "C6 Tech/Performance";

(Both Forums should then be highlighted in blue)

Then click on Search Now.
