for those with alternator troubles such as low voltage at idle because your high amp draw fans are about to take off, the billet-tech alternator is a great product. solidly built and cool as heck looking, uses a 6 phase system instead of three phase in the stock alt. i lost the wiring to my fuel pump, it was melted, and the protect 20 Amp fuse was blown. i was getting service charging system on the dic occasionally so when i heard of this product i did some research. took it up to 210 degrees with the Dewitt dual fan setup running on full, at idle about 800 rpm i was putting out 14.3 volts....far better than the almost 11 volts with the stock alt. good luck to all,
Mine is plodding along at a solid 14.5v and not wavering. I'm used to <14v and sometimes <13v and DIC messages. I've turned everything on that is electronic on the car and it just sits at 14.5v.
