So i've been reading about all these fancy high tech switches to turn on and off the NPP exhaust. When I start my car the dual mode is on until the vacuum builds so...... Can't we just break into some ground wire with a toggle switch that can be mounted in the glove box and get the same affect for only the cost of the switch and a few feet of wire. Or am I thinking to simply?
If it was that easy, someone here would probably have already done it and posted about it. The DIY for something similar has already been posted here and it seemed to be quite a bit more complicated than that.
It actually is as simple as you state. Use "add a fuse" to the fuse in the right footwell, the NPP circuit, and wire it to a switch for factory NPP manual control. Look up the instructions for M2W and it will show which fuse. You can also buy a 12v remote control on Amazon for about 12 buck if you want the remote control feature. If retrofitting NPP then all yiu need to add is a 12V vacuum solenoid to wire the whole thing up.

OK Great so where do I purchase this "add-a-fuse"? Does Advance or Autozone carry these?
I picked up an old style floor mounted high beam switch I'm going to mount to the dead pedal. I have a roll of 18 gauge wire, will this be good for this application or do I need to find some 16?
