LQ9 in tt C6?

LQ9 in tt C6?
I tried searching but wasn’t able to find any information. I recently spun a bearing in my 07 sts twin turbo LS2 c6. I want to build the motor but was thinking of getting a LQ9 to put in the car until I’m done with the build. I see the lq9s for sale around 1500 compared to the 4500 price tag of the regular ls2. Will the lq9 just drop? Or is there stuff that needs to be changed? Advantages/disadvantages? any help is greatly appreciated

Spun a rod bearing? Anyhow is your ls block salvageable? I would sale what you can and build the ls, lq9 are a dime n a dozen and can be had for cheap.. lq9 are far heavier but can handle a lot more than the ls (iron vs aluminum)
