Installed the InTune by DiabloSport. I kept all the parameters as-is except for CAGS which I turned "off". I suspect that will eliminate the skip-shift 1-4 annoyance, though the manual doesn't even mention what which binary option to pick. I scoured the forum for some of the other parameters to pick, such as DoD (Dept. of Defense) and what seemed to be some "Cat" options and some additional spark advancement and fuel management settings but I left those untouched. It'd be nice to know what DiabloSport picked for WOT on some of those so I know what to expect with the "91 tune". The DiabloSport website has a hidden section (somewhat) on some of the parameters, but not all.
I had the C6 GS manual in "Accessory Mode" while tuning. It seemed to retrieve the VIN, though unlike other users, I didn't get flashing/sweeping clusters. Should I have pushed "Engine Start" without the clutch instead? Not sure if the ECU is activated properly in Acc.Mode. Opinions? I'm wondering if the tune "took". The hand-held unit didn't balk.

Well, that didn't work. Car wouldn't start after that! Only the dash and headlights would light-up. Turned the car to Engine Start but didn't crank it, then put the tune back to "original tune backup". Car started after that.
Then, with the car in Engine Start (not cranked) re-installed the "91 Tune" with CAGS in OFF mode. Dash indicated traction control, etc., OFF and did a few warning-light-indicator resets and Low Fuel came on as expected. Car started after a few presses after the InTune said it was done.
Tested to see if the CAGS was really off by creeping in 1st to see if the 1->4 light would come on (it didn't) so I suspect the tune actually took this time, though I'd have to say I don't notice any difference at WOT. Hm.

I had to do my automatic GS in accessory mode. Everything worked well. When the button was pressed it would only stay on for a few seconds. Must be the difference between the auto and manual. The auto requires the brake to be pressed to start the car
