I'm disappointed in the temps being seen with the Z-06 oil coolers for cars on the track, but then there are a whole bunch of variables and undoubtedly some pretty good drivers that are able to drive the temps up that high.

My current thought is to add two Setrab oil coolers, one for EOC, before the radiator and one for TOC, after the radiator, if I can fit them both in the front of the car.

The DeWitts was truly a drop in, just as Tom DeWitt claims. Very high quality.
Good info, thanks. My oil temps don't get terribly high on road courses. The problem is at open road races such as BBORR and SSCC where I'm at sustained 160 +/- speeds for many miles. That's when I see oil temps pushing 300, and why I want to add an oil cooler. The next race is late April so I have some time to research this and get something installed.

Pony Express ORR: 150 miles total, 60 one way, 90 the other (return).

Return leg data: 95* ambient. 150mph class, 168 tech. Finish line oil: 255*. Coolant 215*. Trans 237*.

GM Z06 cooler is the ticket, Steve.

If temps were to become a problem, you could run 6th gear. I always ran 5th, to keep the r's up. IIRC ~4700@165 in 5th with the A6.
