best performance for what?
I'd suggest starting with the search. Not to be a jerk, but because you'll almost certainly find more by searching than what you'll get in responses on such a beat to death topic.
You didn't answer the question man: BEST PERFORMANCE FOR WHAT??? And is price a consideration? It's like asking what's the best car... which can range from a Hyundai Accent to a Koenigsegg Agera R, depending what you want it for, and your budget . Good luck getting the answer you want . FWIW, the best performance STREET tire IMO is Michelin Pilot Super Sport, but you need to check your tire sizes. And they're not cheap.
well lets see "man" all tires perform differently right? so?!!??! what was your fave tire? nitto's, hankook, pirelli, Michelin's etc. plus you gave me your opinion, which is what im looking for,

I'm running kuhmo xs tires now. Great tire, very sticky with very little lateral roll. Also very controllable at their limits. Great tire w/o breaking the bank. I had Michelin ps2's previously. Although they handled well at first....lost that feel as they got a little worn.

I guess I should have said "woman" then . You never said if you wanted performance street, DOT race, or race tires. And if budget was a concern. If you want good help, be SPECIFIC . Signing off now.

Not sure if they have the sizes you are looking for, but I am running a set of Hankook Ventus V12s on my C5 and really like them. Very good handling, quiet ride and a great price.
Of the three I have real world experience with all of the tire manufacturers that have the sizes you're after. Pirelli's wore like iron and had decent grip right up until the day the car was destroyed in turn 10 at Watkins Glen. The Toyo T1 R had tread squirm so bad it felt like the car had a suspension issue. I have always had decent success with Nitto but not so great treadwear. I like the Pirelli's.

Well, if you can find 345/25/20 then that's a start...but my experience with Goodyear Supercar, Several Bridgestones and Michelins is what I have. Based on my experience and several of my friends feedback from real world experience, Michelins have won pretty much hands down for handling on the Vette. It depends on how you drive your car on a consistent basis and what I mentioned below too. Take a look at the Michelins in "Summer Max Performance". Sounds like that's what you want. Look at the Pilot Sport and Sport Cups, too many to list.
You don't mention if you track your car, and if you want a "summer", A/S tire, long tread life, etc.
