Default Intake advice!!!

Hey guys i just recently purchased a 2006 LS2 C6 Vette with 28,000 miles. Its a 6 speed with nav, hud, and all of the goodies lol. I am seriously looking at purchasing a cold air intake. I was curious as to if anyone had experience with the SLP blackwing, the lingenfelter intake, or the k&n intake. Any input will be much apreciated!

First,,, welcome to the Forum. :
Second, get ready for a stampede of folks warning you about using the Cold Air Intake (CAI) term lightly. It is a big deal on here.

That said, none of the options you listed are (or describe themselves as) CAI. They ARE all higher flow and as said previously all good choices for Hi-Flow.

If your budget is a bit larger I would recommend you do some research on your intake manifold instead. The LS2 manifold may very well be a better place to see real gains than the filter.

Good Luck, Drive Safe.

Congrats on your Corvette purchase and welcome to the forum. Since this is your very first post, let me give you a couple helpful hints to make it a better experience for you.

First fill out your profile more than just gender. It's not necessary to include 100% of your personal information, but things like the city or at least the state where you live will be helpful in the future. Also list as much pertinent info about your car as you can, so that other members know what details that you might have left out in some future conversation.

Next is the search function. Each subforum has a box on the upper right that allows you to search in that forum. You can type in something like "wheels" and get thousands of hits or be more specific and narrow the list to a few. As a general rule, if you find a thread of interest that the last post is dated more than 3 months prior, it's better to start a new thread than reply to the old one. Of course, if the old one had unanswered questions or incomplete/erroneous data, then it's perfectly logical to bring it to the top again.

You cannot mention a single product that has been made for a C6 that no one here has used, so when posting your question, it's better to ask "Looking for comments from users of .....".
Also note that with the sole exception of 4 speed automatics in the '05, every C6 has been equipped with a 6 speed transmission. The difference being automatic or manual, so the labels A4, A6, and M6 are used for quick accurate identification.

Enjoy the forum. Read a lot. Learn a lot. Ask questions and provide input and answers to help others. It's a great place to be.

Oh yeah! Sorry I couldn't help other than above.

In my personal opinion this would be a better spend of $375 than a CAI.
Some others with LS2's may be able to confirm or deny.

jbondfl: The FAST 102 & 1 3/4 headers are my two favorite mods for the LS2. As for the intake, I like the Callaway honker.
