I bought a skip shift eliminator from a local Corvette shop. Pretty simple. However, when I went to install it, the new male plug did not fit into the transmission. There were no grooves. I got my money back and now I want to buy one that fits. I see there are a couple of versions of this. What's the best and where can I order one? Thanks
There's a $12.00 fuse some guy sells on here. Works like a champ. If I can figure out where I bought it at I'll let you know. Maybe someone here knows about it?
Install a smart fuse. Did this 18 months ago and have had zero issues. Mine came from Autozone for about $3
A blown smart fuse causes two things to happen. Because is blown it cuts power to the CAGS, keeping it from engaging. Secondly, the LED light causes a minor current draw (from the illumnated LED in the fuse) making the computer think the CAGS is still operating.
