I'm not sure how California is with the smog inspections but if it's going to be an issue, I'd go with a set of stock ZO6 manifolds.

unless you are going to register that car out of state, headers will cause you to fail CA. emissions. try finding a set of used Z06 exhaust system.

Will the Zo6 mans hook straight up to the LS2
And california doesn't allow long tube headers. A bunch of **** out here and their emission laws are garbage! How much hrspwr does it generate? Thx

Best? Pfadt. No question.

Best value? OBX. Or Texas Speed.

I went with OBX. Saved over $1k and went just as fast as the other brands.

CALIFORNIA SUCKS IM GLAD I LIVE WERE EMISSIONS DONT MATTER. It is retarded that a bunch of over educated idiots wright these laws and it doesn't help at all when the rest of the world is pumping out emissions. USA makes up just a small % of the world population. These people need to wake up. It is out God given right to do whatever we want to our cars!!!! They are a bunch of hypocrites if the were serious about there cause they would not drive cars and walk. It is all a front to make money. Greedy chumps!!! Sorry for the venting any header is better than cast manifolds. I would pick pfadt!!!!!!

Keep in mine that long tube headers are not legal in any state. It's an EPA law. Some states ignore the law other enforce it.

What they don't tell you is that when a Hybrid's battery is done it cost 3000.00 to replace and what do you do with a heavy metal waste product? Many of Al Gore's team of scientists that supposedly came up with his data have come out and refuted the facts since. They say they do not have enough evidence because there was no data back over 100 years to substantiate that we are causing any impact on global warming. All these young people are being brainwashed. I am old enough to remember cars with carbs and no cats. Computers regulate a perfect fuel ratio with Fuel injection, so the cars of today run cleaner. European cars do not have cats. So why do we need them? Also how in the hell can our air be dirtier when over 54000 companies have left our country since 2000. We don have the amount of smokes stacks as we did 13 years ago so how can we be causing green house issues? All Bull shiot! Oh and by the way. I have removed cats on both a 97 and 2000 Mustang GT and they both gain huge power. I have not done this on a Vette but would be willing to bet it will. I heard the same crap about how it does not make a power increase like I hear on these forums and most I think because all of the greenies that are drinking the Koolaid. Sorry for adding to this guys rant but I get sick of the lies.

Pretty much all the premium headers will perform the same, so I recommend buying the ones that provide the most value. If you call us @ the number in the sig, you will have a hard time finding a better value on headers than we do with Kooks

Pretty soon Companies like yours will be deemed illegal because your products will cause cars to not pass emissions. You will have to register all parts sold with the fed to comply with Green Laws. It is coming, you watch. Just like what they are doing with health insurance. Your plan has to meet standards and if not you have "Comply" with a higher priced version. If you don't meet the BMI for Body Weight you now pay higher premiums for insurance. We are losing our freedoms and it will trickle into our hobby and love for performance. Are you getting tired of getting kicked in the ***? Cause havoc with your insurance company. Make it difficult for them to deal with you. If everyone did this things would "CHANGE".

I'd go with the ones chosen by GM, Ford, and Dodge.
http://www.americanracingheaders.com...dUnlimited.htm

If you consider value, having a an American made header that won't crack over time and leave you stranded is a one of the factors worth considering.
