Default '13 GS replace brake pads (DUST!!!)

I have been searching on the forums some for the best 'low dust' option for brake pad replacement for my Grand Sport. Dirty wheels are the only irritation I have from my new Grand Sport. The only thread that I saw much on this topic is: (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...rake-dust.html) Their just seems to be a lot of dissension among choice of pads. I think I might be in need of some high performance ceramic pads. I don't take my car to the track but I do drive it hard from time to time. I would appreciate any links to an excellent low dust brake pad for my car. (2013 GS). Thanks

Check out the Carbotech 1521 pad. This pad will cure your dust issues while still maintaining the braking performance you expect from your corvette. We make 2 different styles a 1 piece design and than the padlets. I prefer the 1 piece design because of the extra pad surface and more even pad wear. You can call me direct at 216-780-8825 to order. A description of the pad compound is below along with pricing.

The Carbotech™ 1521™ is our high performance street compound. The 1521™ compound is known for its release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. 1521™ is also a very low dusting and low noise compound with an excellent initial bite. This compound's excellent linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Carbotech™ 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 800°F (426°C+). 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle or fleet vehicle. Carbotech™ 1521™ is NOT recommended for ANY track use.

F:1 piece $275 R:1 piece $234

F:multi $256 R:multi $222

Carbotech 1521 one piece pads, love them. After a while hardly any dust, great stopping power, nice firm pedal feel and easily modulated. And no noise what so ever.

Me too. Hawks on my 13 GS. I think they work better than stock. Way less dust.

I put Centric Single-Piece Ceramic pads
F - 105.11850, R - 105.11851 from RockAuto.com. I've been very happy with them.
