Default How much left on the table

Fellas before I departed for my overseas tour I had a few mods done to my 08, a6 coupe. LG Super Pro headers, Catless x pipe and halltech killer bee w/hive in addition to a tune. At the time I still had the crappy non npp mufflers in line with the headers. I still had stock plugs, wires and roughly 45k on the odometer. I managed a solid 401.4 hp and 405.6 tq.

Since then I have added borla stingers, new plugs, wires and in the process of adding cats. How much more should I gain with these additions? How much sound will the cats cut down and hopefully no more than 3 hp/tq. By the time I hit the states again I hope to have a ported ls3 manifold as well. Do you all think 420 to the wheels is possible with those additions?

My guess is you lose significant sound volume with cats and gain very little to no power.

Should gain 5 from the exhaust and 8-10 from the ported intake.

Don't chase dyno numbers, you will almost always be disappointed.

Plugs and wires didn't help. You maybe gained 12 with the exhaust and intake.

Go to a different dyno and you could easily be a 420. No two are the same.

Could not agree more. I chased 500 to the tire in my ls2 and after I got there NA I completely hated the car.

If you're looking for big power just put a blower on it.
