I was approached by one of my friends who works at a local performance shop, their shop car is getting some upgrades and they are giving me a good deal on the cam. It has less than 1k miles on it..
My car is currently just Vararam/Headers/NPP and a tune. I don't want anything super aggressive, maybe something somewhat mild that may give me 30whp or so. There is a possibility to run nitrous soon, so not sure if this would be an okay fit. And whether springs/retainers would be needed.
I hope that is enough information, if not just ask. I don't speak cam so any input is helpful.
Too much cam for what you want to accomplish. There are better options out there that will make good power (30+ Hp) and drive great. Do a search or contact Pat G for a custom spec'd cam.
Thanks for the info guys, I'll let him know it's not a good fit for me. I was going to impulse buy it, but I'll wait and order the proper cam when I'm actually ready. Thanks again!
